The allure of not following orders is a strong one remember and tends to lead to some choices that are highly questionable and when all is said and done the official faction will be called to blame for 'not controlling their indies'.
This is not needed nor desired. That's all I have to say about it.
Then perhaps you doing bad job? Do you see LN or RM or Order having officials have superior side ID just to keep themself alive? Do you really want to break fun of other people just to get yourself people who desperatly want to fly cruiser/raid gamma? That sounds like a grief play to me and being power hungry.

Once they're booted from the faction, for whatever reason (ranging from typical rule breaks or maybe even as Mimir stated disagreements in gameplay and direction) that pretty much closes the door on them for coalition RP.
Pretty much what they attempted to do with me actually. They did everything to destroy my Coalition RP.
If we have Coalition ID open to public then it simply must be fairly ballanced towards every other factions around discovery. There is good ammount of other IDs who have wide ZOI to engage enemies, larger trading possibilities, wider ammount of allies in every corner of Sirius and so on. Coalition is very limited on diplomacy so giving them ability to shoot every enemy they claim inRP as enemy - logical.
About cruiser - simple its unfair that beyound alien Nomad faction only Coalition dont allow capital ships for indies. Must be fixed in my opinion.
