Yes, Crecy is a great ship, maybe even OP. Still, in my opinion, not that good than AI cruiser or Thresher. I know, that shape makes a lot of people cry. SO if community think that it needs to be fixed than do it. Just do it right, we dont need another dead ship like KuDessie.
What bothers me more than OPness of crecy is argument based on one projectile flying through hull and not hitting. Which is surprising cause i saw such things since i joined server in 2010. I dont even consider this as a bug. Its online game. You have some connection, other people have some connection and server is enigma by itself. THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS WHERE WE SEE THEM. This is something what can be easily overlooked in cap fight but everyone who use bomber against caps has to see sometimes SNAC flies through without doing anything. Its less affecting ships with solid shape like osie or turtle and more affecting ships whit weird shape like crecy or thresher. And it is most affecting ships with holes. Sometimes projectiles miss, sometimes hit and dont do damage, sometimes miss and DO damage and sometimes even crazier things happen on the server. Nothing can be perfect and i am ok with that. I am just confused that people are surprised of 'feature' that was present whole time.
I didnt do this post to argue about Crecy. As i stated in first paragraph, if there is need for fix just do it. I have never discussed balance and i dont intend to do so. I am just surprised how big whoop can one HM shot make.
