I know it would take a loooong time but giving capships appropriate wep classes may stop stupid stuff like this from happenning.

GB's & Utility Vehicles (Transports, Miners etc.) -Weapon Class 8
Cruisers/destroyers - Weapon Class 9
BS's - Weapon Class 10
