The main issue I have with the Nomad ID is that your tractor beam doesn't work. Now that you can't trade bots or bats, instead relying on instakills by you or your buddies to get restocks if you're the target, the Nomad ID is just at a severe disadvantage compared to every other ID in the Omicrons.
Being able to fly indie caps, however, should only be reserved for events like the Newcastle event we had a while back. Most indies will bring caps to events like these, flying bombers isn't fun, and we're left with an NPC shoot fest that also isn't fun.
