Bonsoir,

In order to keep our databases up to date, I set out on an intelligence gathering mission from Battleship Pamiers to Vichy Base in the Auvergne system. Where possible, I used dense clouds or asteroid fields to my advantage in order conceal my exact position from the royalist forces; this may have reduced the quality of certain guncam footage.

A detailed report regarding Auvergne can be found below. The following was gathered during the course of last week:

Asteroid fields and Nebulae

There are a total of 3 asteroid fields and 3 nebulae in this system, providing ample cover should our operatives ever need it.

The asteroid fields are: Sioule located in the north-eastern sectors of the system, Truyere located in the souther sectors of the system and Allier in the western sectors.

The nebulae are: Couze located in the south-eastern sectors, Limagne, Chavanon. Visibility and scanners range is greatly reduced in these nebulae, that explains the choice of location of some these friendly bases here.

Space Stations

I arrived in this system and resupplied on Vichy base in sector 4G within the Sioule Asteroid Field and continued my survey to Lapalisse Depot, a Maquis station in sector 2E then to Argenton, a Corse liner in 2B and finally arriving at Aurillac Base in 6C, a base belonging to the Brigands.
As you can see, Auvergne is a system where we have many friends.

There are, of course, civillian an royalist presence in this system: La Cendre in sector 6F seems to be THE only form "authority" in the system, though patrols seem rare. There are 2 major hubs of civillian traffic:Clermont Space Colony, Riom Shipyard in sector 3F and Monlucon Space Colony in 4D; Montlucon and Riom are under EFL control, Clermont is administered by the Royal police. GMS' Saint-Floury Mining Facility is also found in sector 7B, though it appears there are no major mining operations currently going on in the system.

Jumpgates and Jumpholes

There are two jumpspace anomalies located in this system: Orleanais jumphole located within the Limagne Nebula in sector 1D and Provence jumphole within the Truyere Dust Cloud in sector 6E.

In addition to these jumpspace anomalies, there are two jumpgates: one is sealed and guarded by La Cendre in sector 6F, the other leads to Orleanais in sector 1C. Both are under Royalist control.

Lane Network

There are a total 4 lanes in this system facilitating commercial traffic, one of which is incomplete. Montlucon Space Colony is the main hub connecting to Clermont, Orleanais Jumpgate and Saint-Floury Mining Facility.
An incomplete lane exists that aimed to connect Clermont and Riom to La Cendre and the Sealed Gate.

There are a total of 6 planets and 1 moon in this system, all with no viable conditions to support colonization, at least as suggested by the number of space colonies present:
