Dear Jeremy,

I hope all is well. As you likely have heard, I'm officially a criminal. I've made a few mistakes, hurt some people, killed others. I have no qualms in admitting it. But, I had to flee Liberty, and joined the Legion. Maybe they'll have more information about my origins, maybe not. There is no need for you to worry about these things anymore.
