(Subject: After-Action Report - New York
Bonjour.
Reporting in the engagement in New York. I'd joined up with Sentinels Marshal and Savoy flying Arae wing, who were engaged with a duo of Marduk-classed Nomads accompanied by an Irra. They were on scene alongside a Liberty Navy pilot, identified as Ryan Dagnino, and we were soon joined by Initiate Dubois. The fight was long and drawn out, consisting mostly of long ranged shots of supernova cannons to take them down bit by bit. Killing them with bug bites. Initiate Dubois had to make an emergency departure during the fight, however, and was forced to leave.
Things got rather heated when a somewhat dull Rogue Scylla wandered into the fray, paying no mind to the large aliens tearing it's home apart. Not long before, we were joined by a Junker Congressman, who stood back mainly to provide what I can only assume was color commentary. He was taken out by stray shots from the Nomads' weapons, but his pod was recovered. The Rogue on the other hand proved to be more of a pain than any form of aid. He'd eventually open fire on our wings, in an attempt to avenge a pilot he believed was 'killed'.
A time had gone by before the first of the large Nomads went down, falling prey to the guns of the Navy pilot. He continued to aid until he was eventually taken down by the other large Nomad, but it was made sure his pod was recovered and returned to the Navy in one piece. Eventually, Sentinel Marshal was forced to depart as well, sending word to the Curator to bring in heavy arms to finish off the final Nomad 'warship'. The Irra had fled beforehand, leaving it's ally alone to our guns.
The Arktos arrived not long after the Sentinel had departed, and bore down on the blue monster with every weapon she had. The Nomad, having suffered the firepower of myself and Sentinel Savoy, as well as Sentinel Marshal beforehand, succumbed to the guns of the dreadnought, and thus we were left to mop up the Rogue. He proved to be a nuisance, and an honest waste of time to put out of action, so the Arktos was pulled in again to remove it, and did just that. The engagement was over, and no Auxesian units were lost. Pilot Dagnino, to my knowledge, is in care on Manhattan, as well as the Junker. A fine day and a solid display.
This concludes my report.
To the stars and beyond,
Tristan Fresnel, Templar.
