Sorry Spazzy,
First, discussing a rule change and why it might be good or bad isn't bickering, and it is totally acceptable to question the admins in this community.
Second, If this is a case where, as you say, this is just something to point at, then a simple "Admins will cancel or amend events if they are deemed to severely limit any other factions' activities in their own ZoI beyond any sense and/or provide utterly unfair protection to the faction from otherwise logical roleplay consequences." This would make it much clearer that this rule regards admin action and not player action. That way when a problem comes up, it is much clearer that even if a player thinks the event infringes on their rp, it is not up to them to get involved, it is up to the admins to change or cancel an event they think is a problem. I feel like a better and clearer wording for the rule change might be
Quote:Official player factions who have planned an event (with at least 24 hours notice on forum, here) can restrict participation of others in that event as they see fit. Admins will cancel or amend events if they are deemed to severely limit any other factions' activities in their own ZoI beyond any sense and/or provide utterly unfair protection to the faction from otherwise logical roleplay consequences
