To the people of Sirius; From the Core

Greetings, Ladies, gentlemen and other respectful human and not so human beings.
It has come to my attention that the majority of you were once again cunningly duped.
You were led to believe that the Core has decided to besiege the Freeport and has murdered many "innocent" zoners.

Unfortunately, this is not the case. Of course, I don't have just my words to support my claim.
I have evidence and plenty of it too.
Let's start from the very beginning. Let me tell you about two particular zoner ships.
the Arcadia and the I-401.
The former being a Zoner "Colony" Ship and the later, a zoner Carrier.
A colony ship, as we all know, has plenty of crew and inhabitants on it, that's why it's not wise to go into combat.
But it did.
The Arcadia and the I-401 openly supported the Order against the Core.

That's right, the Order. A terrorist organisation. They're responsible for the deaths of many good people.
Fathers and mothers working in the law enforcement and navy. The order has taken their lives and left their children orphaned.
The same Order that has stolen multiple advanced military prototypes. The same order that claims to protect man kind, yet, became nothing else but a pseudo-empire in the last years.
An organisation that started as a noble squad of misfits and became the worst possible people you can deal it.
There's more then a few zoners who openly support those disgusting terrorists, boasting to be the saviors of mankind, while in reality, they care only for their own well being.
Yes, that's what the zoners do with the money they've earned from selling you various goods. They support terrorists.
Not all of them, of course. I do not mean to insult all those hard working Zoners that are the backbone of many independent operations that benefit humanity in general.
But enough about that, let's get back to the two Zoner capital ships.
Both had previously violated our laws, so we decided to correct the problem.
We had lost countless good men to them and in order to prevent the loss of even more, we had to act.

The Comnenos and the Diaboli moved in, warned all parties of the situation and engaged the two primary targets.
Anyone else that got shot, got shot because it tried to prevent us proving a point and enforcing our own laws.
We've never violated a single zoner law since the ceasefire, but that can't be said about them.
A good portion of the zoner population in Delta does not even know of the Core laws.
They openly transport alien biological material and without proper precautions too.
That's dangerous not only to them, but to everyone that comes in contact with them.
And who knows where those things end up? Probably in the hands of terrorists or pirates.
Those same people are trespassing in our territory without having the common sense to ask.
I've never denied anyone from the right of passage. Neither has the Guildmaster. As a matter of a fact, a few weeks back, a zoner convoy passed through our home system.
It's leader contacted us and we approved the request. We gave them no trouble. That goes to show that we respect those who respect us.

Of course, when we finally enforce our own laws, we instantly become the bad guys. Well, I have news for you.
What you've heard, that we're attacking the Freeport again? Lies.
No orders to attack the station were given and not a single shot landed on it.
Of course, I realize a whole lot of people will rush towards the omicrons to help the damsel in distress, but sadly, there's no such thing.
You've been masterfully duped and your kindness has been abused.
Further more, many Zoners stated that the Freeport has a population of Thousands, while in reality, it's hundreds. Yet another lie to amplify the compassion sparked in your hearts.
The Zoners are from the "harmless hippies" many believe to be.
A good portion of them runs unchallenged and supports that very people that vow to destroy everything lawful and dear to us.
Again, there's respectful ladies and gentlemen in their ranks, but also a whole load of criminals that abuse the general reputation of the organization.

As proof of our good intentions, all relief operations are fully authorized and will not be harmed, in fact, we shall protect them.
I'm sure there will be many of those, just like during the last incident. But uh, here's a tip, place a tracker in your donations. You don't know where they might
end up.

Whoever you are, I urge you to heed this message and remember it.
We, the Core, are simply making sure that laws we set in place are being obeyed. Just like any other government enforces their laws, we enforce ours. It is, in the end, as simple as that.
We protect you from the dangers you have not even heard about, we put our lives on the line just so sirius can continue it's existence.
