Btw, if you were well in Slavic-related RP (like SCRA is) you would know, that Slavic surnames differ depending on the sex of an individual, and the female version of surname "Kirov" is "Kirova".
Anyway, have fun with such a lame RP. The factions seems to be dead already as a proof for that.
Okay so, I didn't have any post deleted. And yes, I have a lack of socialism and communism. It's just a game, I don't have to. Furthermore, It's Eurasian. Yes I've been told it's Kirova, I prefer Kirov because it rolls off better. I understand there's that.
As for "lame RP" you are currently the one who came here right off the bat wanting a Typhoon. And you know what? I liked your roleplay. I actually thought you were a pretty good applicant and a pretty good fit. But no.
When I said you failed a test you walked out. Guess what? That was a Kobyashi Maru. No matter what you chose I was going to fail you. But that failure was not the end. I gave you a choice, and you chose to walk out.
If you want to say we have a lame forum RP then fine, think that. I was ready to tell Tabris you'd be pretty good with how you acted but no, instead of just going with it for a few more posts you quit trying. Now, I was nice. We usually kill applicants who fail, and I maimed because I actually liked your style. I did. Instead, I was proven wrong.
Sorry I'm not perfect.
Have a pleasant day.
Good Sir, no offence were intended when I wrote the post. Thing is, I really loved the SCRA faction and returned to Discovery for the first time since 4.82 just to experience this very faction. But I ran into many changes in the server rules and mostly RP since then. Yes, I came right off the bat trying to get a "Typhoon", because I prefer playing as a cap ship. As you have put it, "it's just a game" and it becomes not fun to play when to get a ship you want for the faction you want you need to spend so much time on the forum waiting for a response. RP is the easier part, waiting - that is what makes people turn away. I am a busy person and can dedicate barely an hour-two a day or even less to play the game. Even while waiting for the final response on your behalf i managed to make in-game money to buy a "Legate". Now, after not being able to pilot a Coalition big ship I mostly lost the interest in the game (thus a delay in this response). I actually had five friends of mine who wanted to join the forces and play together as the SCRA but after hearing my experience, they lost their interest in the game as well. 5 people for Discovery online is a difference, IMHO.
I would just like to advise you to be more newbie-friendly both on the forum and in-game. Not many people come with a desire to play as SCRA and it's a pity that such a faction is dying off. Make your decisions quicker, because it's not the RP - it's waiting that makes people quit. Remember, it's just a game and people must have fun as you said, not having to work their brains out deciphering every whim of the lore-makers. I hope, that there is a future for both the SCRA faction and Freelancer on the whole as a game in the face of upcoming Star Citizen.
Have a nice day and safe flights, comrade! I hope you all will do well.
P.S. all these stereotypes regarding communist and people shooting each other and brainwashing - this really looks kinda offencive to people who have a history linked to socialism etc. I do know of the atrocities such people as Pol Pot, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, Mao did and I do not approve them. And yet, my father served in the Red Army of USSR and he is a good men, as well as all his colleagues. And seeing such an image of Coalition soldiers/recruit process (which is basically based on USSR/Russia/China stereotypes) is a tad offencive. Just keep this in mind.
