Elena briefly said goodbye to him before returning to the cockpit of her Sunburst again, falling into the still so uncomfortable pilot seat. Next time she would buy herself a better suited one-way-ship, she thought, the credits for that she definitely had in her wallet.
She wasn't yet sure how she would get rid of the ship, however the most logical thing for her would now be getting into Kusari or Bretonia, leaving her ship there, maybe even scrapping it. After that, taking a public liner back to Liberty. She couldn't ask one of her friends to bring her her ship, as that would have meant she had to tell them what she had been up to. Something she would have liked to avoid at that point.
The engines were switched on, roaring and breaking the overall silence inside the hangar, and soon enough Elena left the Freeport. At least she was out of this place now, though her thoughts kept circling around Hussaini and the way she had been senselessly endangering herself.
