I would keep going for the original storyline and I would remove Gallia. Many liked the disco for being as close to vanilla as possible while featuring some extensions in border\edge world systems and new ships. But through lifetime the systems\story\faction relations - all gone south and now stands almost as far as some crossfire storyline away from the original state of things.
