PC Gaming will never die.
PC opens up alot more variety and possibilities. It will always be their for Gamers.
Piracy? That is the big issue but their is always DRM. Not the strict junk but more welcome. Think Steam or GFWL or some other system (Yes GWFL works. Need a free account to register to save games and go online)
Only bad thing is cost wise (New or decent parts and all) where consoles can handle every game at highest quality for fairly cheap.
Easier where consoles are tray and play.
360 and PS3 though have Install options to install to HDD to make games run smoother.
Maybe down the road sometime we can play games on PC without installing (Or atleast an option to choose between). Halo 2 Vista had something called Tray and Play. Play while it installs. Not a bad idea.
