Background My life have begun in Gallic sovereign space, system Lyonnais, in orphanage of one of the major cities on sole settled planet in the system, Lyon. 'Graduating' it when we - me and my slightly older sister along with me - have turned eighteen - we've been politely asked to get out, orphanage could not afford to care about us anymore; and it was it - 'adult' life at it's best, despite the fact we've encountered the trouble of lack of literally everything and unability to set some confidence into our future due to the lack of skills necessary for the jobs at the board. And the one that - in pure theory - had the least requirements was the military academy,
where we would continue improving with certain skills while having the minimal necessary level for living in the modern world.
Attending it took five more years of spare time and given us the hope for the future as a part of Royal Navy - an ability to make career and ensure the better future for both of us.
Still, not everything went as smooth as we expected.
Actually, the trouble was so close that we missed to notice this - something right in front of our noses before they were actually blown up and caught everyone's attention. The isolation that have existed for centuries was breached, and it turned out that there, behind the minefields - the whole sector inhabited with four different civilisations based off on the cultures that other Sleeper Ships carried onboard.
This was one of the shameful pages in the history of Gallia. They knew this all along and lied to us, preparing to throw the invasion when the time comes.
Of course, not everyone liked the obvious lies. Discontent were growing exponentionally, many pilots took their ships, left their bases of deployment and never turned back, vanishing in the darkness of Sirius - so did me and my sister, Amelie. Through, our paths separated pretty fast - she knew for sure what she was looking after, seeminly settled somewhere around Liberty space, and me, still uncertain and calculating opportunities while residenting in border worlds, far from the places i can encounter any acting Royal Navy officers.
Meanwhile, i have considered finding a way of investing additional funds into my life. A contract with Kruger gave me everything -
the ship, the business to do, the credits income... and a new cause to go for.
This happened when i suddenly encountered some unsual capital ship on my usual ore route to Denver. I was tempted to drop a line of greeting to it's captain, which resulted in both nice dialogue - and some flashbacks of the time when i tried myself with incompetent Liberty Navy dorks, actually leaving them few weeks after they eventually accepted me in rank of ensign. That kind of cause wasn't the one i was looking for to follow.
And the information provided by Harmony's captain - makes their cause much more attractive to fight and, maybe - even to die for.
So here i am, as was proposed - signing to the ranks of Battlegroup Harmony.
