Log Entry 3: 825, 4th February

Put in another follow up of my daily events, especially circulating around my suspicions. The day was quite clear and calm around New York again. The usual happening I guess, some pirates here and there and some crazy wackos claiming to be the rulers of men once in a while, I will skip logging such things and I will go into more personal things.

So here is the update on Amanda and my parent’s attempt to move out of California Minor. The good news is that I managed to reserve something for them on Manhattan. It’s cozy and nice. The very bad news though, is that the civilian transports in and out of Cali are very regulated because of the Gauls. To hell with those shrimp eating pompous arses.

Why the hell they need to poke their noses like that in Sirius. Their frustration of some “ancient betrayal” goes beyond ridicule. But… I cannot do anything about it. I cannot change the legislations over Los Angeles. Currently they are “Trapped” on that planet. Their clearance was delayed to an undetermined time. A friend of my old man, said that it might take at least another week or two, depending. It might be even earlier, nobody knows for sure.

I saw an AI drone the first time in my career. They are usually seen more in the Edge Worlds, but this guy was on a sort of pilgrim. It was interesting to say the least. It looked naïve to be honest, but Westpoint always told us to never assume the best of an enemy, but the worst he can be/do. This one seemed to be in his beginnings, for he was learning. Then I met a certain commander Watson of the 5th fleet. Now things went interesting.

Given my lead from the Harmony’s datafiles, I had to start digging more on Juneau. That is the turf of the 5th. I hesitated at first to explain this commander my motives, but I took a shot. And I was surprised that this guy had similar ideas to mine. The same suspicions, so I was not paranoid or felt like a traitor for questioning the motives, anymore. He claimed that he and the 5th found a trail on something very peculiar, that included the Nomad forces. He stated that the Nomad forces could be deeper integrated in our society, even within Harmony and Hellfire. That came from the supposition of the fabled Wilde Drake system, that I found out that it’s access point, exists in one of the Commonwealth’s systems. Given that link, who could exclude the possibility for the sinister Wilde to get once in a while in “contact” with the Commonwealth.

That was disturbing. He said that he was not alone in this investigation, he had an exterior contact that he could put me through so we wouldn’t rise any suspicions with our official Navy frequencies. The 5th put together a series of logs and documentation that point to this destabilization in which the Nomads could be involved and that they are staging a long run plan, given the late occurrences with the Legion, the Harmony and another strange group that arrived here and there in Liberty.

First of all.. it’s quite difficult for me to grasp this all. But if this guy is right… I will be gone on a very hard path. Currently I haven’t spoken with any of the LN command about this information. I don’t intend to. I will do my job officially but in my time I will start digging around more. I will have to see how to get access to the Juneau’s delicate datafiles. That’s gonna take a while. I will start looking for this contact, commander Watson told me about, but for that I’m gonna fire up the BlueHawk. Thankfully a friend of mine kept it in good shape over Earie.

I never thought I will second-thought the integrity of my home. I think it’s time for the boyscout to become frontrunner. I will return with my findings in the next log. I will upload the transcript so I can have it for future reference.
