I've arrived in Alpha today. After a short chat with Doctor Tumicelli - whom I was rather pleased to see - I made my way towards Santa Verna. The hollowed out moon of Carinea. The refuge for the silenced and disenfranchised, out of sight, out mind - in the depths of the Siniestre. Full of mad prophets, self-proclaimed messiahs, gurus and political prisoners. Of secrets, confusion and...beauty. Most people would describe this place as eerie and maddening. But they cannot feel the all-pervasive, almost electrical crackling in its air. The chorus of directionless whispers coming from those who, through Cardamine and practice, brought their minds to the brink of transcendence. The nascent Light connection of those who on Malta would be considered 'insane'. Almost like newborn children, curiously exploring a newfound world. How I love this place.

But as much as I would like to explore, immerse and understand, I've far more important matters to attend to. The next step of our plans for Malta and its people has been set in motion. I must coordinate with my agents and push this operation more expeditiously. For now, more than ever, time is short. The window of opportunity has started, and we must exploit it to the fullest. The Light will guide us.
