Perry was flabberghasted in the direction the conversation was taken for a second. Perhaps Genavieve was making small talk. Se was confused as to how this intelligence sharing visit turned into a discussion about national reproductive policy.

During her time as a consultant at Liberty during the early stages of her career, she knew that the business culture there was very ... efficient. Companies made deals, shook hands on them, and as long as all parties were covering their end of the contract, there was no concern. But she also knew that things worked differently in Kusari. Kusari was all about developing relationships first before entering into any business deal. Several families would meet and have lavish dinners and feasts, even arrange business marriages to cement a deal. Efficiency wasn't enough, they needed to build trust.

Perhaps it was the intimacy of the Latin culture that led Genavieve to discuss something else. Perhaps they too like to develop relationships with their partners. Perry wouldn't know, up until a few months ago, she had spent the better part of her career fighting the Outcasts instead of working with them.

In either case, Perry closed folder. The intelligence was shared. Hopefully this would lead to reciprocation on the part of this CID in the future. But she figured she might as well try one more thing before leaving.

"I understand that this is an extremely secure facility. SIS, being a very new agency inside the Bretonian intelligence community does plan on constructing our own facilities at point in the future. I don't know if this is appropriate but would it be possible to have a quick tour of the unclassified areas of this facility? Perhaps there's something we can learn from you about how to keep our information, facilities and prisons secure."
