Construction of Autopulses

As a Maltese soldier/scientist i've decided to roam Omicron Delta not too long ago,
in my Dreadnought.

When i get "dragged" into a fight, numbers on our side are usually far smaller than
the numbers on enemy side, they're trained for hit-and-run tactic as they fear to engage me alone.
Hence when i engage anyone, i just scratch him before he runs away.

-- I can't reliably drain enemy shields --

torpedoes can be disrupted, Pulse guns recharge too long,.. most of my enemies are just Battleships,
yet they resist and bite. Need a way to scare them away so allied vessels can tear their hulls
into pieces of junk.

-- Need weapons like Pulse EMP guns, but faster to create Barrage --

Went back to Malta to see my child-time friend who enjoys engineering like me, i'm more
into sotware and electronics and he's more of a hardware guy.

We've put our heads together, ordered Four pieces of PulseEMP guns, and started to disassemble
the first two. Endless nights had passed, bottles of milk for me and alcohol for him have been
lost due to the fact that we felt like we cant do this.

Both PulseEMP guns exploded while we were testing them to their maximum potential.
Explosion has damaged third gun, and it seemed like it's rendered unusable.
With fear we powered it on and ran diagnostics. Diagnostic log was corrupted so
we hoped it's just interface problem. Once we fired we couldn't hold our jaws,
guns were firing Six times faster but lost their precision, one of the main chips
was damaged and caused it's internal software to go wild.
"They're Autopulses of sorts"

There was also a damaged thyristor which was supposed to short the condensator to control
its output voltage, which caused them to recharge again. But now that's out, power inside condesators
is not limited.

-- Guns are perfect --

I've dumped memory of the chips while my friend was repairing the plating.
Old processors were replaced by new and better ones, and i was Debugging
what actually caused that strange bug,.. then created a patch for gun's
operating system.
Thanks to the condensator energy reusage, it can fire faster with less energy used,
strangely, the distance seems to have stayed the same.

Of course me and my friend went to a bar to celebrate our success, we talked the
entire night and in morning we've mounted the guns. To put the into field test.

I couldn't just leave my friend without giving him at least something to compensate
the time, he resisted at first, but in the end, both of us took a sniff and i've transferred
20'000'000 credits to his account.
