Biography:Robert Wardwell was born into a working class family at Planet Manhattan. He woked very hard and scored well in school allowing him to study a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at the California Institute of Technology with a full scholarship. After spending a few years working as a management consultant for a boutique consultancy specialising in the investment banking sector at planet Manhattan, he pursued a dual degree program at the University of Pennsylvania studying a Juris Doctor (law degree) alongside a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specialising in Finance & Management Operations. Although the consulting company he worked for paid for the tuition in exchange for coming back and working with them for an additional 10 years, he instead paid the company back and decided to begin working at an investment bank and become a banker himself. He worked at the prestigious investment banking company Goldman Sachs for a number of years before he decided to leave and start his own company.
He is currently running The Bank of New York - Whitehall, a start up commercial and investment bank specialising in well-calculated shipping industry investments and loans.
He is interested in joining Interspace Commerce and having his bank acquired by Interspace Commerce at very favourable rates (//basically just slapping on the IC| tag) but he also wants to expand into the shipping sector and purchase new transport and cargo ships that will benefit from the security that interspace commerce security escorts can provide. He also wants to join interspace in order to diversify his own company within the shipping sector, but he is not opposed to interspace having a majority stake over him and his assets.
Why do you want to join Interspace Commerce?:I'd like to buy an Akegata transport which I think is very beautiful and the Interspace Commerce ID has a 90% on it's powercore. I'd also like to continue running my Bank of New York - Whitehall RP, continuing to give out loans, but under the IC| tag which I hope will help the IC| raise it's profile while raising the profile of my own Bank RP as well (HOWEVER I WILL STILL BUY A SHIP AND TRADE). I picked IC| because it's the only real finance company in Sirius (IC started off providing shipping insurance) and although insurance is seperate to investment banking or commercial bankings (loans basically), it's the closest finance RP company I can find as all the other company factions are mostly shipping or mining companies.
Have you ever been sanctioned?:Yes. I was part of a Liberty Rogue faction called LNBF- (Liberty Navy Best Friends). We used the names of prominent [LN]/5th| fleet members without their permission and some of them took offense to that. I apologised and explained why we did this (we wanted to create a humorous Liberty Rogue faction similar to the old LR- faction) but it seems some people considered our ship names to be ooRP as they were not aware of our roleplay. I explained this and apologised for my part in the incident which the admins felt was sincere.
