The delayed nature of this communication was just the right medium for Minami to explode over the comms and engage in a rather weird undeserved tirade against himself. He left them to vent, through annoyed and left momentarily to fetch himself a glass of rum. It seemed his temporary absence had missed them as they were preoccupied with their Kusari stories but he had heard everything. He had a closer look at the weird carcass that they found fitting to place near the camera. Masako and Minami could see his perplexed expression as he leaned in to inspect it, after all he had seen something even Admiral never heard of. He uttered but a single comment. “You are one ugly motherf…” The static cut up his transmission just a little but his opinion on the Gaian monstrosity was made abundantly clear to the stranded Kusarians. That is, maybe you are jealous. That or you happen to be from inner circle of fans and fangirls writing up fanfictions to either idolize their Admiral or perhaps defame me, I am not quite sure what is their intention.”

Depending on condition of your...” He coughed lightly. “...half of your mighty fleet, we are looking in most positive outcome to arrange window of opportunity for extraction within twenty standard hours. If you are stranded, picking up that wreck of yours requires an equipment we simply do not have at hand and you may end up camping out there with a healthy prospect of supplies drops and company of…” He pointed towards the camera but it was quite obvious he referred to the alien creature. “...Whatever THAT is. Do you want to stuff it and hang it above fireplace or something?”
