Scars of Persecution

A plume of white and blue bursts from the Barrier Nebula like the tail of a comet on a celestial journey through the void. As the object flew into the gravitational well of Gran Canaria, the plume fell away to reveal the shimmering metallic shard of a Scimitar. Gliding through the silence, the vessel twisted away from the planet nose pointed from where it had come.

A hand curls around a throttle stick and slams it forward. The roaring rage of Prometheus erupts behind the pilot, engines thundering into life. All traces of the nebula burn away to the bright orange flicker in the dark. The vessel slows down until it finds itself stationary in the orbit of the majestic orb of Gran Canaria.

"Canarian docking authorities... this is TT19-3. Requesting clearance for geo-synchronous orbit at grid 745694. " With her request granted, the shard rotates so the eyes of a curious wanderer could look out into the stars. Searching. Waiting.
