  My entire adult life has been spent serving in Her Majesty's Armed Forces. Before my assignment to the Academy, I was the Commanding Officer of the HMS Sovereign.
  
  
• Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces:
  I have been teaching at the Academy since 818, and I wish to return to a battlefield command. I understand if there are no open billets at my current rank, and I am willing to take a temporary reduction in rank if needed.
  
  

• Short biography:
  Winston Doyle was born in 774 to a side branch of one of New London's lesser noble families. Upon coming of age, Doyle attended the Dartmouth Naval Academy. After graduating in the upper third of his class, Doyle rose through the ranks at the usual pace.
  
  He was eventually assigned as Commodore Lord Mountbatten's Executive Officer aboard the Destroyer Sovereign. He sided with Lord Mountbatten in the September Rebellion of 816. After the Rebellion ended, he was pardoned alongside everyone else involved and was permitted to retain his post. After Lord Mountbatten retired to the House of Lords, Doyle was promoted to Captain and given command of the Sovereign.
  
  Now in command, Doyle distinguished himself on the front lines of the Tau War. After the Destroyer Sovereign was lost successfully defending LD-14 from an overwhelming Kusari attack, Doyle was rewarded with the command of a newly commissioned Dunkirk-class HMS Sovereign. He was also moved to the top of the promotion list for new Commodores.
  
  In 818, Commodore Doyle accepted a teaching post at the Academy to help train a new generation of Officers to defend Bretonia against her enemies.

  I flew for the BAF from 2008-2010. I've been back on Disco for several months now, and felt like returning to some of my old factions.
