Heungs footsteps echo through the shogun's empty halls like a tachyon through the emptiness of Tohoku. A weary pace for a clearly exhausted Heung, It had been months since he had faced the Shogun and his emotions were divided. The northern dragon within him wanted to demand the Shogun recognise the overpopulation of Kyoto whilst his own estate remains sparsely populated. And the southern remains loyal and is wracked with guilt knowing that he was inadvertently responsible for the Yubokumins attempt on the Shoguns life.

Hueng reached the Shoguns Chamber, with a slight wave of his hand the personal guard split in perfect synchrony to clear his path. Their steel heels clashing against the marble floor provide the soundtrack for Huengs last breath and sigh before pushing the chamber doors open. The Shogun as he has been for a while was laid in bed, alone with only empty sake bottles for company. Huengs focus fell to the floor as did his heart. With a sharp, inhale Hueng shook off his feeling of hopelessness and cleared his throat, fixed his posture and asked.
