As Bretonia's fall draws ever closer we must begin looking towards the coming invasion of Liberty. My experts have expressed concerns however. Current piracy of Fuel transports heading for the front lines has reached an all time high. The infection of a nation calling themselves Malta harass us in the Taus while in Bretonia we are constantly being pestered the Communist peasantry that fashions itself an Army. As a result I took the liberty of sending scouts to look for any potential sources of Oil closer to the front lines. Conveniently we have discovered one planet that may very well be what we are looking for.

Planet Gaia, in the Edinburgh system. Seen as a gem to Sirians it isn't too dissimilar from planets found in Gallia, featuring several of the hallmarks of planets that produce Oil in Gallia, Gaia is a prime candidate for potential exploitation. Additionally, they have native wildlife who's Furs would be a hit in Gallia's fashion markets. The planets is surprisingly well preserved in part due to Cambridge University studying it and lobbying the Bretonians to foolishly ignore its economic potential.

Best estimates suggest 2.5-3 Trillion Barrels of Oil could be extracted which would greatly reduce both shipping costs as well as increasing security of our supply lines which, admittedly, are stretched thinner then I am comfortable. However until we can get teams on the ground to perform thorough scans below the surface we cannot guarantee anything.
