Misaki took away the knives. Emiko's knife was still dripping from the fresh cut and left stains on the tatami mat. Hanako's blood was already coagulated on the blade. She placed both in a bowl of water which started to color a light pinkish color.
Finally she took the small vial of the table. It looked like an inconspicuous metal vial, but within it was lightly pressurised cardamine with on the top a breather.
