Iridium proved a difficult material to acquire. While not fond to have to risk the unneeded risk of the Omicrons there was simply no other location we could purchase the needed materials for the project without paying a vast premium. When confronted with a budgetary difference of 25 million credits compared to 153.3 million credits it was decided that the costs saved could be used to hire additional escorts for the transports security.
Niobium fortunately was far closer for us to obtain and much cheaper at that, resulting in a large surplus of the material. This surplus will surely come in handy during experimenting and testing.
Materials acquired:
25.000.000 credits in Iridium: 41.806 units of Iridium have been acquired through our Zoner contacts and stored.
25.000.000 credits in Niobium: 96.525 units of Niobium have been acquired through our contacts in the Tau systems and stored.
