For the next three hours, the two made casual conversation while they dined over Sushi. It wasn't his favorite food but he managed. The Saki was smooth but he switched to something non-alcoholic so as to not get drunk. For whatever the reason, he felt very much at ease with Yamada. He wasn't seeing the terrorist that so many called the Chrysanthemums but then again, he treated her with a great deal of respect......as he did all women.
"The chest," he stated at one point, "it has a lining in it that keeps a negative pressure inside. That is what makes chest injuries so delicate and even so deadly if left untreated. It is a very agonizing to the victim."
He had mentioned this as a delayed response to her comment about human weaknesses. "To me though, the cruelest way to injure is psychologically. Words have meaning and can hurt more than any weapon. Psychology and psychiatry are not something I am skilled in hence why I have people for those disciplines. I am a surgeon and a dentist."
It was time to leave. He stood up and fixed his robes a bit. Smiling at her, he put his arm out for her to take. "Shall I escort you to your chariot, Miss?"
