Today on my trip to Liberty I procured samples of Stabiline x5. Under the Royal Laws of the Kingdom of Gallia it was considered contraband. But with the collapse of the Kingdom and without any notification from the current government on the temporary recognition of the Royal laws as effective pending the Confederation legislation, those laws are considered null and void. Thus, the Stabiline should not have been a contraband, legally speaking.
I was on my way through Dauphine to Kerguelen when I was stopped by a Gendarme, PN|Blanc who inquired about the stabiline. Following the discussion of the legislation and my defending my position of legality, I was permitted to carry on but requested to refrain from transporting contraband defined under the old Royal Laws until the new legislation is adopted. However, the Officer in question requested me to "pay the fine" because of delaying him and allegedly "offending" a Gendarme when discussing possible reform of police in Languedoc depending on the development of the political situation. Clearly, such a demand is not supported in the old laws, and with no new laws effective - currently is not supported by anything. It is, de facto, an extortion while executing the powers vested upon the enforcer of the Law. It saddens me to see that the old problem of corruption is still present. To avoid complications until the political situation in Languedoc is decided and to preserve corporate advantage, I paid the fine, ten times more to satisfy any greed that might have come in the future.
Thus, in view of the aforementioned reason, I would kindly suggest to the corporate leadership to take note on the current Police Nationale and not rely on them in terms of security of corporate assets, and invest more into corporate security of our own. Current police is no better than Gallic Brigands or Unione Corse (or even worse). I would also suggest taking this matter to the court, but first - to the attention of the current leadership of the Confederation. The evidence are attached below. To Monsieur Montluc I would suggest cutting any financing of the police.
I managed to safely get to Kerguelen, luckily. Take care, mes amies, when flying either foreign space or domestic one. It appears, even law enforcers are a nuisance now.
[23.01.2020 17:57:36] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Bonjour
[23.01.2020 17:57:37] PN|Blanc: Please stop for a Cargo-Scan.
[23.01.2020 17:57:45] PN|Blanc: Bonjour
[23.01.2020 17:57:47] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Oui, monsieur
[23.01.2020 17:58:19] PN|Blanc: YOu know that Stabiline is illigal?
[23.01.2020 17:58:42] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Last time I checked the laws, it was legal
[23.01.2020 17:58:58] PN|Blanc: Where are you from?
[23.01.2020 17:59:14] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Languedoc, Minarchy of Provance
[23.01.2020 18:00:03] PN|Blanc: Ok, the law is actual in, hmm, overwiting. So lets say i won't see you agin with that?
[23.01.2020 18:00:26] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: We are doing corporate research thereon given the advances of the Outcasts
[23.01.2020 18:00:31] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: So it can benefit us all
[23.01.2020 18:00:54] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Until the Confederation comes up with the new legislation - I suppose, it can be used. But I will consider your warning
[23.01.2020 18:01:05] PN|Blanc: Ok, didn't you know that the Outcasts are criminals here?
[23.01.2020 18:01:12] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Oh, we do
[23.01.2020 18:01:21] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: And we do know they spread Cardamine
[23.01.2020 18:01:26] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: And Stabiline counters it
[23.01.2020 18:01:34] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: At least, they say it in Liberty
[23.01.2020 18:01:43] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: We bought a sample to test their claims
[23.01.2020 18:01:53] PN|Blanc: Sorry, but what Liberty say doesn't matter...
[23.01.2020 18:01:57] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Obviously, Nox is much bigger concern within the Minarchy
[23.01.2020 18:02:24] PN|Blanc: Bring this where you want, but if you like to transport more of it, get a License for that.
[23.01.2020 18:02:31] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I agree that the claims of Libertonians are null and void, but if we can replicate one - perhaps we can benefit from it
[23.01.2020 18:02:40] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: To get the licence, there must be the law
[23.01.2020 18:02:46] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: And currently there is no law
[23.01.2020 18:02:58] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: for our government doesn't work
[23.01.2020 18:03:04] PN|Blanc: So you shold wait with you next transport until it is there.
[23.01.2020 18:03:21] PN|Blanc: Than you won't have any trouble.
[23.01.2020 18:03:26] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Bah, even the Police doesn't work properly when the state is run by the criminals
[23.01.2020 18:03:38] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Look at the Unione Corse and their "Minarchy"
[23.01.2020 18:03:54] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I hope the Baron finally secedes Languedoc from it inst
[23.01.2020 18:04:06] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: into a separate Barony*
[23.01.2020 18:04:20] PN|Blanc: I'm not here to create the law or talk about politic, i'm here to stop smuggling.
[23.01.2020 18:04:45] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Anyway, officer, we won't be transporting more stabiline because it won't be needed
[23.01.2020 18:04:53] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: The samples are obtained
[23.01.2020 18:05:00] PN|Blanc: And as long as you stop discussions and follow my orders, everthing is ok.
[23.01.2020 18:05:19] PN|Blanc: If not, we will see...
[23.01.2020 18:05:24] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: However, with the Royal Legislation being null and void, it is no contraband
[23.01.2020 18:05:30] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Legally speaking
[23.01.2020 18:05:52] PN|Blanc: Are you really try to tell me how i have to do my job?
[23.01.2020 18:06:16] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I am telling you that there is no law
[23.01.2020 18:06:20] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: formally
[23.01.2020 18:06:26] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: unless you follow the Royal Law
[23.01.2020 18:06:27] PN|Blanc: Than you are wron!
[23.01.2020 18:06:36] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: wrong*, Monsieur
[23.01.2020 18:06:57] PN|Blanc: There is a law and we all have to follow it.
[23.01.2020 18:07:22] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Would be be so kind to link me the current law that is effective within the territory of this system?
[23.01.2020 18:07:35] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I.e. the Law of Minarchy?
[23.01.2020 18:07:42] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Or of Confederation?
[23.01.2020 18:07:43] PN|Blanc: You might love it or not, as long as there is no offical right, i have to do my work as my boss tells me.
[23.01.2020 18:08:13] PN|Blanc: And one part of it ist, look about Contraband.
[23.01.2020 18:08:32] PN|Blanc: And when i find something, i speak to the people.
[23.01.2020 18:08:36] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: And your Boss tells you to do your job based on what?
[23.01.2020 18:08:40] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Royal Laws?
[23.01.2020 18:08:49] PN|Blanc: )8% of them follow my orders and everything is ok.
[23.01.2020 18:08:52] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I am not against Royal Laws, just want to be sure we are on the same page
[23.01.2020 18:09:12] PN|Blanc: The other 2% try to discuss.
[23.01.2020 18:09:33] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: 8%+2% equals 10%. How about the rest 90%?
[23.01.2020 18:09:36] PN|Blanc: And this is defently not ok.
[23.01.2020 18:10:18] PN|Blanc: So will you stop transports with possible contrabands until ther is a law, it that we all can trust?
[23.01.2020 18:10:19] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Anyway, officer. There is a legal discrepancy here. I as a scout who goes to other Houses regularly check the current law
[23.01.2020 18:10:29] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: That is business
[23.01.2020 18:10:34] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: That I can do
[23.01.2020 18:10:49] PN|Blanc: That was all what i did request.
[23.01.2020 18:10:58] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Until the effective law is established, we can refrain fro mtransporting the goods defined as contraband in the previous law
[23.01.2020 18:11:12] PN|Blanc: Why ist it so hard to accept that?
[23.01.2020 18:11:22] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Because Law is important in business
[23.01.2020 18:11:40] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: and using obsolete law of a state that no longer exists hinders commerce
[23.01.2020 18:11:43] PN|Blanc: Just wait some time.
[23.01.2020 18:12:02] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I am looking forward to the Baron establishing local laws in Languedoc
[23.01.2020 18:12:07] PN|Blanc: Your business won't ran away, and venen than, you are in trouble.
[23.01.2020 18:12:10] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Then at least for our company it would be easier
[23.01.2020 18:12:34] PN|Blanc: There is one point: You say you are from here?
[23.01.2020 18:12:52] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Depends on what is "here". Dauphine? No. Minarchy - yes
[23.01.2020 18:13:01] PN|Blanc: Gallia...
[23.01.2020 18:13:16] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Oui, Gallia
[23.01.2020 18:13:21] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: If you prefer using this term
[23.01.2020 18:13:40] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Gallia is fractured now. Republique de Gallia or the Minarchy, or the Duchy
[23.01.2020 18:13:57] PN|Blanc: And as far as i know, languedoc is part of the conferderation.
[23.01.2020 18:13:57] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Some people take political affiliation too seriously, hence we use local toponyms
[23.01.2020 18:14:16] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Yes, Languedoc is a part of the Minarchy, which is the part of the Confederation
[23.01.2020 18:14:38] PN|Blanc: So you should know about the situation here in the Gallic space.
[23.01.2020 18:15:01] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Oui, I am aware
[23.01.2020 18:15:09] PN|Blanc: And now the question: why are you scouten, when you should know what had happen here?
[23.01.2020 18:15:49] PN|Blanc: Yes, some things have change, but most are the same...
[23.01.2020 18:15:55] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: You misunderstood, officer. I am scouting places outside of Gallia
[23.01.2020 18:16:10] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: With the war over, now we have new business opportunities and new markets
[23.01.2020 18:16:12] PN|Blanc: Ok.
[23.01.2020 18:16:22] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: My job is to scout them for possible deals or other matters
[23.01.2020 18:16:45] PN|Blanc: So, will you stop transports of possible Contraband until there is a new law?
[23.01.2020 18:17:07] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: You leave little choice. We don't need problems with the Police
[23.01.2020 18:17:15] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: at least, until we have the new Law
[23.01.2020 18:17:19] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: or our own Police
[23.01.2020 18:17:45] PN|Blanc: We will see, wwhat the future brings, but i get no yes or no.
[23.01.2020 18:18:09] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: This stabiline will be delivered to Kerguelen Fabrication Facility
[23.01.2020 18:18:14] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: We do not need more of it
[23.01.2020 18:18:24] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: So you can be sure that no more stabiline will be delivered
[23.01.2020 18:18:43] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: If you insist on not transporting other goods considered contrabant under the Royal Laws - we can do that
[23.01.2020 18:18:49] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I will convey it to my bosses
[23.01.2020 18:19:14] PN|Blanc: I take this as a yes.
[23.01.2020 18:19:50] PN|Blanc: Ok, than you have to pay a fine for offensing a Police-man of 500.000 Credits, than you are free to leave.
[23.01.2020 18:20:03] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Offending? Preposterous
[23.01.2020 18:20:07] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: There was no offence
[23.01.2020 18:20:19] PN|Blanc: Yes, it was there.
[23.01.2020 18:20:38] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: And what exactly was an offence, Officer?
[23.01.2020 18:20:39] PN|Blanc: The easy point is, i can decide, what it is...
[23.01.2020 18:21:05] PN|Blanc: And you took much of my time with the useless discussion.
[23.01.2020 18:21:15] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: If you continue that line, Officer, I will take this matter to the court
[23.01.2020 18:21:29] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: and the local police will have much more Bureaucracy to deal with
[23.01.2020 18:21:51] PN|Blanc: Include the idea, that you can stop the Galli gendamerie.
[23.01.2020 18:21:53] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Besides, there is no line in the laws, even old ones, anything, regarding the offence of a Gendarme
[23.01.2020 18:22:19] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Stop? Did I ever say I wish to stop you?
[23.01.2020 18:23:02] PN|Blanc: ...until we have our own police...
[23.01.2020 18:23:32] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Well, should Monsieur Baron succeed with the League of Quillan, Languedoc wil lahve its own police force
[23.01.2020 18:23:49] PN|Blanc: And again.
[23.01.2020 18:24:00] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: and this is a matter of Confederal local empowerment, not opposition of force
[23.01.2020 18:24:16] PN|Blanc: Now we have a full million...
[23.01.2020 18:24:52] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Continue like that, and we will sue you for multiple tens of millions
[23.01.2020 18:24:58] PN|Blanc: And to the question of the old law; look at 1.2...
[23.01.2020 18:25:15] PN|Blanc: If you want, we can do...
[23.01.2020 18:25:36] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Point 1.2, citing "to the Crown"
[23.01.2020 18:25:40] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Do we have a King?
[23.01.2020 18:25:53] PN|Blanc: *facepalm*
[23.01.2020 18:26:02] PN|Blanc: Are you really try this?
[23.01.2020 18:26:12] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: The law is to be interpreted by the court, not in the field
[23.01.2020 18:26:30] PN|Blanc: Not right.
[23.01.2020 18:26:32] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: if you have any complains - file it to the MAE PR division
[23.01.2020 18:26:45] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I will provide the records of this conversation
[23.01.2020 18:27:03] PN|Blanc: We decide it in the field and if you think this is not right, you can co to a curt.
[23.01.2020 18:27:24] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Oh, now, mon cheri, I certainly will
[23.01.2020 18:27:27] PN|Blanc: Feel free to do that.
[23.01.2020 18:27:59] PN|Blanc: And be shure, ther will be a Report to the Police National.
[23.01.2020 18:28:06] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I think, i should report to my bosses to stop financing the Police
[23.01.2020 18:28:21] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: as the police is not much better than the criminals of the Unione Corse
[23.01.2020 18:28:29] PN|Blanc: Fell free, but actuale you should pay the fine.
[23.01.2020 18:28:44] PN|Blanc: That a bad idea...
[23.01.2020 18:28:47] [2020-01-23] 18:28:47 You have sent 12.000.000 credits to PN|Blanc.
[23.01.2020 18:28:52] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Here you go
[23.01.2020 18:28:57] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Even more than needed
[23.01.2020 18:29:03] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: Now, if you excuse me
[23.01.2020 18:29:06] PN|Blanc: you better leave now...
[23.01.2020 18:29:09] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: I have the work to do
[23.01.2020 18:29:11] MAE|Emile.Lavoisier: unlike you
