Character Name: Akiyama Mayu

Short Biography: As you well know, I have had an association with the Gen'an Cell already. What you may not know is the affluent upbringing my sister and I have abandoned for the sake of free will and independence. My father desires to hold influence in Kusari politics. Sadly, I have become a pawn for him to use to gain further connections and influence within the government. Neither my sister, nor I, will submit to this long-standing Kusari tradition of "escorting" powerful men for the sake of my father's ambition.

Reasons for joining inRP: It pains me to have brought dishonor to my father, but I cannot abide by the old Kusari tradition of arranged marriage. I refuse to be married to an old wrinkled man who leers at me with lustful eyes as if I were some cheap whore. Am I to endure this for the sake of my father's honor and influence within Kusari government? It is loathsome to think about. It is a most difficult decision for me. However, I must leave my affluent life and join an organization that wishes to make a positive change for others in similar situations. My recent encounters with the Gen'an Cell, and its allies, have provided a new direction in my life. It was most pleasing to share danger with you, to experience more care than what my own family provides. I am hopeful you will accept my application.
