Character Name: Tomiko Saya
Biography: I was raised on Kyushu. At first, life was good but as I grew older I found that me and my father would have many disagreements. Mainly over my choices in life. I am inquisitive and enjoy discovering how things worked and if possible improving upon them.
My father was not happy with this, he first tried to reason with words but as words had no effect he became stricter in his attempts to align my behaviour to how he believed I should act. Gone was a loving father and in his place a man I could not recognise or reason with. As things grew worse and his grip became more absolute I planned to find a way to secure my freedom and my choice to choose my own path. I began sneaking out at night hoping to find some method to leave Kyushu.
I was fortunate to find an old broken down ship for sale nearby home. It was damaged and could not fly but because of this I was able to scrape enough credits together for the ship to buy it. It was my Sutaraito, my starflight and my passage to the stars. I would sneak out at night and repair the ship piece by piece until I was ready to make my voyage. I had a goal of fleeing Kusari to begin a life anew, away from my homeland.
Unfortunately, for me things did not go quite to plan and in my haste after my launch I found I had very limited sensors and with limited engine power I was unable to go very far. Fortunately, the previous owner had been well travelled and I was able to find the route to the tau systems within the navigation computer. I spent several days within the tau systems, basing myself off of the local Freeport. Unable to find the resources to continue my journey much further than this. It was during one of my flights that I was spotted by the Fuyuzora and Captain Rin. Who hired me as an escort craft for their trade run. After refuelling, I accompanied the Fuyuzora on a couple of successful trips. On one of the trips we encountered warships hailing from the taus. Crayterians... upholding my contract I engaged the craft and though I was little less than an annoyance given my crafts capabilities I was able to survive and hopefully... cause some damage to the enemy.
Through this... I found my fighting spirit and with this I wish to assist with the implementation of change in Kusari... rather than fleeing my homeland.
Through this, I saw the stregnth of the sisterhood and hope I am worthy to be considered one of them. I offer my ship and my spirit to the cause.
Reasons for joining inRP: To protect those who lack the power or capability to affect change on their own. To aid in the societal change of Kyushu and Kusari as a whole.
