Character Name: Mayumi Risako

Biography:
I am a 26-year-old born in planet Kyushu, a young woman who always enjoyed flying, working on small ships and reading about the universe. I'm Respectful and Curious, but can also be Impulsive sometimes and have strong opinions.

My mother left me when I was young, leaving me with my father in a somewhat profitable farm in the planet. Life wasn't luxurious and I had to escort my father's small transport herself a few times, but we managed to live by.

I longed for a chance to work with what I loved but my father already had plans to marry me to a powerful Samura Executive in Kyushu. At first the idea seemed reasonable as I would be able to assist my soon to be husband in his work in the company, but one meeting between the man and my father made it clear that I would only serve my husband and be a housewife.

I then fled to Bretonia to apply for Cambridge University, where the official responsible for my boarding tried using his power to take advantage of me. Not able to deal with... that kind of situation, I've flown then throughout the other houses, fixing ships here and there, taking escort jobs when I could. to Cortez and hoped for the people of OS&C to have room for a pilot and mechanic. When a shady ship salesman tried to scam me into paying way too much for a Sutinga previously belonging to an Admiral, I did my first kill. For once I was fighting back. For once, I felt the power to crush the ones who were always crushing me.

I then took the ship and it indeed belonged to an admiral of the 46th Naval Fleet of Liberty, quite odd that they would fly Renzu, but no matter. Flying on Kusarian tech again made me feel the rush of memories and the need to come back, not as a submissive housewive, but as a warrior.

I then went to Kyushu and caused a little drama, disabling 25 Samura, KNF and Kishiro ships and having their pilots locked in my cargo hold. I took those as offerings to the Hokkaido System, where the Legendary Tomoyo-sensei intercepted me and showed me the way. I passed a preliminary test by her in the Tohoku system and I am ready for the next trials.


Reasons for joining inRP: I did not work so hard and learned so much for my life to be lived around a house being some token of conquest or bagain. I also despise how women are treated even on more "liberal" Houses. I'm back because I'm a warrior and in serving the Matriarch I hope to do my part in freeing Kusarian women.
