Character Name: Kiwami Yua
Biography: Kiwami Yua grew up on Planet Junyo, Shikoku, to an intergenerationally poor family of itinerant laborers who maintained the many platforms which dot the planet's surface. Her older sister Sara, at age 17, had left the house to seek the Blood Dragons following the passing of their mother to "natural" causes... at the age of fifty-seven. Their father, a man of little means and even less good fortune, was killed in an electrical accident the very next day. Orphaned, destitute, and traumatized, yet somehow not defeated, Kiwami grew up to fend for herself in some of the most remote and inhospitable parts of the little blue jewel known as Junyo. In many of her more desperate nights, Kiwami's only source of comfort was one of her few material possessions - a tattered copy of Golden Chrysanthemum in Bloom that was gifted to her by a kind stranger on a particularly difficult night. Soon enough, whenever she was old enough to barter or scavenge for Cardamine, her ambitions turned upward, to the stars of Shikoku and the heart of Ge'nan territory. A scrappy and inventive person, Kiwami's sense of curiosity is one of few impulses that disrupt her otherwise closed-off and defensive nature - another impulse, of course, being her ravenous draw to Cardamine.
Reasons for joining inRP: This is no way to live. This accursed world has taken everything from me. Now, I must find comfort in the arms of Matsuda's legacy - and at the front lines of the revolutionary movement she inspired. This government does not deserve Kusari's bounty and potential... our leaders command us to sit around and rot, slaving away for the kereitsu until we're grey and dead? Enough. I can't keep slinking around derelict platforms, attending secret meetings full of nothing but talk. I need credits, weapons, and zealous sisters from whom I can grow and learn. My spirit is strong but I feel unhoned, imprecise, and sluggish. I know I deserve to reach the stars, but I need a guiding hand. Please don't let this planet be my grave. My spirit longs for a true sense of... home and sanctuary. I can't let this world consume me.
