Before answering her, he just took a deep breath, eyes fixed on those clouds. Being here seemed to invigorate him in ways that were tough to explain. "It's harmless, just rain. We can go inside if you want, but it's been a long time since I've actually felt the rain." There was a sense of longing in how he said those last few words, something she'd only heard from him once before.

"If it's not too much to ask, would you stand here with me?" Those clouds only seemed to rush in at a steady pace while they had their exchange, occasionally lighting up with a flash before thunder roared out through the valley below. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy this, almost as if he'd missed it.
