well in the case of the peregrine, is like flying a light gunboat who spent a lot of time in isolation with a well-stocked pantry.

I'll take that as a compliment as that's more or less what I was going for. These things are, after all, trying to haul cargo on top of being as well-armed and armoured as a Gunboat.
