Good day,
as per my official inititation within the police force, Assistant Commissioner Ms. Reyes ordered me to appear near Trenton, New York. I arrived there at 1549. Our sensors detected a power sourge near the trade lanes towards West Point. Upon further seeing into this matter, we concluded that this must have been due to a minor ion storm. AC Reyes and I went through a routine checkup and I was instructed on the usage of the TLAGSNET as well as a general information about my duties as an officer of the law enforcement.
Upon first usage of the TLAGSNET, we encountered another dubious reading. Enrypted weapon signatures that our computers could not assign to any known weapons in our databanks were showing up on a vessel in the Pennsylvania system. AC Reyes concluded that we should investage this further. We arrived in the system at 1601 and went along the trade lanes. The previous signal disappeared and we were left without a trace. A civilian would not answer the question about suspicious vessels passing by.
Immediately after that, AC Reyes concluded that we should return to Trenton. Upon arriving at West Point at 1609, we encountered an Insurgency starfighter of the Prosecutor class. AC Reyes ordered me to engage the vessel, which, after following the standard procedure of informing the perpetrator of my intention, I did. I managed to disable the starfighter and force the pilot to escape via their escape pod, we did not succeed at restraining and arresting the individual.
After the fight, I returned to Manhattan at 1628 and returned my starship for repairs after the fight.
I have provided evidence of the encounter via the ship recording and provided files that confirm the vehicles destruction.
Cadet McLeod over.
