That's valid btw. You can "do it in the name of". They are not RPing the Queen herself. Plus it is nothing major. Story's concern was to remove players coming on funny ideas like in the past where they RPed around as "Head of the entire NPC faction".
Plus I feel like people did not realize what this Marches are about.
A system to trigger RP and give PoB owners in Border Worlds incentive to still RP with a house despite being capable of 200% ignoring them due to our rules.
These PoB owners can still ignore Bretonia or they pick up on the idea, pay a nominal fee and can see this fee be put to use through supply contracts, bounty board financing, etc. to "protect their operations in the area". This here is a Roleplay Server and Bretonia is not forcing anything on anyone with this idea. It merely provides an opportunity of RP which can be freely acted upon or simply ignored.
If you really think providing unusual, fully within rules and iRP logic RP opportunities is a bad thing, kindly refrain yourself from commenting on it any further then, thank you.
Might not be obvious but if you read between the lines, it would also mean a "defence agreement", aka Bretonia logging to aid them if they were to get their bases sieged, next to the whole supply running/bounty sponsoring.
(Oh yeah, the fee is kinda high imho, should be like 150 mill per quarter)
