I'm keeping clear of touching these bases. As either defender or attacker.

The law may or may not have been questionable, but two weeks time should have been enough to compose some sort of reply, feed the bases supplies to the brim and let BretGov know. Even something among the lines of "hey, check it out, they're stocked and repairing" would've been sufficient.

But seems like playing victim and let the bases be destroyed to constantly whine for three months to have the staff take action.

Whoever's behind these bases - don't be surprised by the amount of motivated siegers you'll have up your arse shortly, and the amount of lenient sieging time they're given.
