He just about sprayed his coffee at the marriage comment. After swallowing it, he joked. "Marriage? John Holliday? I need a meaningful relationship first and I have not done well there since back when I was married. My last one? She takes my gun and murders a Cambridge medical executive and I almost went to prison for it for life. Needless to say, we did not stay together."
He shrugged, "One day, perhaps but it does not look promising."
He listened as she explained the new identity and look. It made sense. Was it really faking though? People wanted to change all of the time and she wouldn't be the last person to do it. Medically, new base scans could be re-established with relative ease. Her looks? That was another process. Any changes in the body would require something he was not...a plastic surgeon which was someone he kept on staff. Even afterward, The Rejuvenator would make her look new. The identity? A psychologist could easily draw up a strong profile. As for Doc himself it would all be just oversight.
He just looked toward Sonja. "Do you have an idea as to what you may want to look like?"
