Rumors in the Tau's

After Karl had left Outcast space, he began to think long and hard about what the Outcast had said. As soon as he said something about the Ceti systems, the Outcast ordered him to leave. The Outcast knew something about these strange dissappearances too and Karl wanted to know. He began to dig further into the files that he had obtained. There.

"Two Months ago Juan Ricardo vanished with out a trace near an unknown Jumphole, recently detected in Tau-37. A month later Juan came back, twisted and crazy from his experences in the 'Ceti' systems. He was unable to talk in rational sentences and continued saying the word 'Yyuman'."

Yyuman? That wasn't even in the English language. It sounded similar to the word human, but didn't have any kind of understanding, as if something else was trying to speak human but could not because of a disease or some kind of sickness. Was there an outbreak of parasites in that system that could infect humans and kill them? Some kind of new disease and the IMG had torched the Jumpholes to avoid it?

It was possible, Karl realized that what he had stumbled on to was probably big enough to cause people to want to silence him, he turned back towards Falkland, and kept his mouth and thoughts silent until he reached his room onboard the station. He shut and locked the door.

He had much to think about.
