Recent years have seen countless crews lost to this infernal mechanization, their final broadcasts of horror forever lost amidst the background radiation of interstellar space. Those who have witnessed the passing of one of these alien denzines of the border worlds and lived to tell the tale refer to them in furtive whispers as Harvesters, the wanderings of these monstrous vessels marked by the vapor strewn remnants of the unprepared vessels caught in their path.

When the first reported sightings of these vessels began to flood the highest levels of Liberty's intelligence networks, a troubling connection was drawn between the apparent philopophy of design and hauntingly similar constructs hinted in the ancient Dom Kavosh vault to be found at the heart of the Ageira complex. While initial speculations of a return of the former was quickly dis-proven, the rumors an ancient artifact hidden in the deepest reaches of unknown space is speculated to be the source of the sudden and unexplained presence of these vessels.

Those graceful lines and smooth contours that define this vessel belie the grim task to which it has been appointed: The collection, storage and processing of space faring vessels and their freight... And crews. Without the cumbersome demands of vast life support systems and passenger appointments the entirety of this sentient vessel has been dedicated to its dark work. From the initial reception bay strewn with sunder hulls, their crews relocated to data siphoning chambers and lubrication processing vats to ionization halls where material goods are reduced to their base molecular components for later re-fabrication, the vessel plays host to a maddeningly complex yet eminently logical series of inter connected factory processes designed to adapt to the needs of each harvest.

While the integration of a highly complex manufacturing center and the storage spaces required to store the processed matters demand a certain concession of size; the boon granted in enabling totally autonomous and unparalleled operating times cannot be disputed. Coupled with intimidating defensive capabilities there are few, if any, organically piloted vessels that can hope to outmatch, outwait or outmaneuver a Harvester.
