Personal background: I had things pretty normal for living in a middle-income family on Los Angeles. I knew I wanted to be a pilot, but my parents didn't want me in the navy. Too dangerous. So I signed up with Liberty Police as soon as I became old enough. I wanted to help people. Didn't last long in there; whole organization's rotten. I got out while I still had my conscience. I've struck out on my own since then. Up until now that is.
Military/Para-military background: Freelancer Mercenary. I've had escort contracts with New Horizon Industries, mainly in the Omegas/Edge Systems.
Combat skills: Aside from basic combat training I'm mainly self-taught in the cockpit. My skills haven't failed me in the scraps I've been through however. Most of my flying experience comes out of the Sabre and Eagle spaceframes; old ships, but also reliable. And believe me when I say I know how to keep an engine running, even if she's spitting MOX into the void like an open wound. Anyone will pick up skills like that in the Omicrons. You wouldn't last a month out there otherwise.
Reasons for enlisting: Mercenary work is running dry at the moment, and my reasons are same as before: I want to help people. I'll never work for a house again and I want nothing to do with the corps. I think it's all rotten honestly. In all my interactions with Crayter I've met good people who want to do right by the universe; folks who are willing to make the right changes. I won't lie though: one mechanic to another, you've some incredible tech. I've seen the maneuvers your Nyx can do. I want in on the action.
