Guten tag, mein damen und herren.
I have recently conducted a scouting mission into the Omega-3 system, to evaluate the Aland wreck and the overall security situation. Frankly, I see two reasons to avoid such an op unless we can secure solid hazard pay. One, the site is already surrounded by as many as two Junker depots, both of which seem to be staying in the area for the long-term. With that being said, I am sure they would be happy to process any scrap we recover during the clean-up. Two, Omega-3 seems to be a hub for many unsavory characters. I encountered a Corsair artifact smuggler, a Corsair scout, and a suspicious Daumann vessel in the short time it took to make guncam recordings.
While the wreck itself seems to be in good condition, its recovery may attract the wrong sort of attention. While the Armed Forces do have a presence in the system, prolonged operations would require additional security investments. This type of overhead will likely make any proposal less attractive to the IMG, unless they're willing to provide their own security. If we choose to move forward with this, I would like to work closely with a counterpart who has operated in the Omegas to get a better sense of their current arrangements.
