Hi Firesilver,

I appreciate your objective opinion and understand your concerns about the aesthetic of the character. As you pointed out, roleplay that aligns closely with the original Freelancer universe lore is ideal and makes the most sense. I agree that it’s important for a character to fit well within the universe and the faction they belong to.

As an “Open World” of “Role-Play”, there are characters with various colors, ideals, and behaviors. After all, should we dictate that “the presented character should be forced to be like this and this”? For instance, consider Freyja. Should we expect her to be only at a desk doing paperwork (which she actually does) and never get out to see how things are and fix problems by her own hand?
There may come a time in KPR when you have to get your hands dirty to make an arrest. Do you understand what I mean?

As you may consider, this is my first time getting along with a faction at this level. While you see the “Rheinland-based pages of Roleplays and Backstories” being for more professional or “aimed” people, this time was really different. I had to self-learn how to do Polizei work. While it’s been a nice way for me to learn and have some help with it in speed up such, I believe that currently, in the state I am working for it, the picture is the least of the issues. If you see the recent “Communications and RP done by my character Freyja”, you will find that it has been improving always in every way. But without as many “opportunities as other bigger factions”, you must say the “Learning curve is actually high”.

Still, I have done some high-quality RPs recently, like the Handelsdepot and the AEGIS done with Antonio. The evidence is represented as it is. If you want me to improve, I invite you to do some RP with me and we’ll see where this goes. While I have issues in following some others due to IRL issues, I believe it’s not an impediment to always try before judge.

In the past, I never saw someone with the will to make bureaucracy and RP at such a level. Or have you seen someone bringing some nice ideas like I did with the Dev Antonio with his ship Aegis|CV-Citadel? Trust me, if they start doing it, it will probably be because of me, not because they bring the idea of such a thing.

As said, try RP with Freyja and you will see if it can “Fit” for the Job, but consider my learning curve at such a level and let space to improve.
