I've only had one experience with these events, and while it was fun, it was frustrating. The OC side just... did not coordinate at all. No pre-planning, and requests for a bomber target were denied in a fight against something like a dozen capships. I don't know if that issue has continued, as that's the only time I've flown in this event, but if so the outcome is unsurprising.
