*Jake Winslow sits back in the captains chair of his old trusted whale, He looks out into the frozen darkness of space and flicks his cigar ashes on the floor. Picking up his Star log recorder he takes a drag before speaking into the device*
"Data Log 002407-F, This is Jake Winslow returning from another supply run. Seems we are on track to meet the latest deadlines for station command. Soon the rebuilt station will be another great accomplishment for Star Enterprises. Once the next core is complete we can start construction of the Flag Ship and begin the Deep Space explorations even further into the unknown. Tho another task of its own we must first establish the full functionality of the stations research facility. Station reports civilian access is fully granted with anyone on friendly terms.
*Takes out a pad and pen from the side pouch of his chair and writes a few notes*
Station is now accepting the following goods: Alien organisms, and Military salvage.
Station Exporting the following goods: Small craft weapons (CODENAMES), Scrap Metal, Prototype components, and Assorted Equipment's.
Seems the station foundation has been set and is self-sustaining. The completion of the Jump Drive factory will allow us to easily traverse the systems with our flagship further advancing our research, at least this is our goal anyway. If we stay on schedule the first operating Jump drive will be functional within the week! We could use some more dedicated zoner explorers, scientist, or even transports but for now we will work with the small group we have. Someday we can hope to grow back to the numbers we once had.
