Albert McKenzie Ship: '\S/'SRV-Sol Location: Inverness System
It has been quite some time since one of our Pilots, Halpert Kennedy, had travelled on their own to secure us a prototype exploration vessel. From our talks in the hallways of our Research Complex, it seems that the ship designed was nothing more than a reduced version of an already failing ship design. The basic information available to us regarding the older "Kali"-Class variant made it quite unsuitable as a base to create our own ship from. This was severely overlooked by Kennedy.
It is with this message that I am informing the rest of our pilots that a shift will occur to allow further research and development to complete Kennedy's project. Project: "Vector" will resume, to ensure that we give ourselves the best vessel for our needs, without relying on existing designs that we will need to further adjust. I remember a time when we had to scorch the offensive mounts of our vessels to prevent the use of arms. Once we reach the end of this, we no longer will need to take such archaic actions.
Let us work together and make the best exploration vessel we can.
