This, I feel, is a question worth considering and expanding on.
Some of the questions that frequently come up when I guide newbies are about POBs:
- what are they?
- are they owned by players?
- how do you make them?
- do they control territory?
The impression I get from these, is that they see POBs as symbols of status and power (when they're more along the lines of elaborate and maintenance-intensive crafting stations).
I wouldn't hold it against them, the fantasy of staking your claim in the vast expanses of the cosmos is a very powerful one... but it's still a misconception worth dispelling, before they embark on adventures they aren't prepared for and end up getting in trouble.
A brief bullet-point list on the chart, explaining what POBs are and are not for, might be a good idea.
