Today began with a routine patrol of the Liberty systems and its borders. Minor events occurred in the California system, where a squadron of Rogue pilots assaulted the Battlecruiser Yellowstone. The two Rogue squadrons were quickly dispatched with lethal force.
Upon my return from the California system, I have encountered a Lane Hacker going by the callsign Stellarum. They appeared on my long range scanners while travelling through the trade lane network. Upon contact I dropped out of the lane and immediately returned to the coordinates of the encounter. The lane hacker did not appear to have any active hostilities towards civilians or otherwise. During a brief interrogation I preformed a scan of the target's cargo and identified 4 Liberty Navy life pods in the hold along with 3 Rogue ones. After the hacker had her fun with her childish taunts, I demanded that the Liberty Navy life pods be released into my custody. The Hacker complied with the demand and additionally released the Rogue life pods as well.
Due to their compliance, non-hostility and in the interest of not endangering the life pods in my cargo hold, the Hacker was released under temporary supervision, and they fully retreated from public space. Following this, I have immediately returned to Norfolk Shipyard with the life pods. The Liberty Navy pilots were taken to the infirmary, and the Rogues were taken into custody after being examined by the on-site medics.
The remainder of the patrol into Colorado remained uneventful and silent. No further incidents to report.
