Connor and I didn't always see eye to eye on everything.
When he returned and we made him a GM, I honestly feared we were going to lock horns a lot.
That's not what happened.
We were running impromptu events together every couple of weeks. One in Thuringia where we spawned a bunch of squid NPCs stands out in my mind. His priority, which I valued over any other, was making sure people had fun. I grew to respect him greatly, called him a friend. And then I, for my own health, cut contact with almost everyone I knew here.
And now he's gone.
I'm grateful that this was brought to my attention, even if it nearly made me lose my lunch.
I'm sorry we never got to know each other better. I'm sorry I didn't stay in touch. You died a hero's death, and I will not forget you.
