Same way we make stuff with other characters. Using what I know from vanilla and what seems logical, I build a conception of a character (human or otherwise) and put it through discovery's people and situations- voila, new character. We've also got a bit more to go off than some, there's a Nomad backstory that is immensely helpful. Plus, a few people are writing up a document to 'codify' what discovery's people have done with the Nomads. Speaking of such, I need to write that hybridization piece... I'm getting to it Yuri, I swear!
EDIT: As for this:
Quote:If someone is going to RP as a nomad, they only need to do 2 things
1. shutup, don't say a thing, ask no questions.
2. follow orders from the one roleplaying as the overmind.
I can say the same about my (non-infested) Rheinland Military character. Stay quiet, do your job, follow orders from high command.
Is that interesting?
No.
So I talk, even though it isn't technically the most logical thing to talk to your opponents. Its more fun that way, and helps distinguish RP from PvP.
